How It WorksGraduation Egg Hunt
- The Graduation Egg Hunt is included with admission to the Applejack Easter Event.
- Gates open at 11:00 AM; families can play in the patch, visit the Easter Bunny, and enjoy activities before the hunt begins.
- The graduated egg hunt starts at 1:00 PM and runs in short rounds by age group in different locations.
Guests should bring their own basket or bag for collecting eggs.
Ages and Groups
The hunt is designed by age groups in different locations around the property. So all ages can hunt with their peer group (“graduated” by age).
Planned age ranges (subject to minor adjustment):
- Ages 0–3: Toddler hunt area with easy-to-find eggs and a slower pace.
- Ages 4–6: Early elementary hunt area with lots of visible eggs.
- Ages 7–10: Bigger kids’ area with more hidden eggs and a bit more challenge.
Each child may participate in one hunt for their age group only.
Older siblings are welcome to watch and cheer but should not collect eggs in younger age areas.
Anyone with an egg that has a number on it can collect their prize at the prize table located in the event barn.
What To Expect During the Hunt
Listen for announcements on the sound system; signage and staff will direct age groups to their designated hunting area and explain the rules before starting.
Please open eggs and check prizes outside the hunt area to keep things moving smoothly.
If your child finds an egg with a number inside, they can collect their prize at the prize table located by the event barn.
Fairness and Safety
We encourage each child to gather a “happy handful” of eggs so there’s enough for everyone.
Running is allowed but rough play, pushing, or taking eggs from other children is not permitted.
Strollers and wagons are welcome on the property.
A supervising adult should remain nearby while their child participates in the hunt.
Weather and Other Notes
The Graduation Egg Hunt will proceed in light rain; dress for the weather and for farm ground conditions (mud, grass, etc.).
In the event of severe weather or changes, updates will be posted on the Applejack website and the Facebook event.
